EDDY RAY COOPER
"I Save My Soul"
Eddy Ray was born in 1967 north of France and spent his childhood in
diverse places in France and south of Italy.
In 1989 he settled on the French Riviera (south of France) and formed his
first band, "Sweet Nashville," which became a local favorite rock 'n' roll band.
Since then he has performed in many exciting venues across Europe and
Quebec, including festivals, private parries, as well as many bars and
pubs throughout France.
His life is filled with dirt roads, small towns, tiny thrills, tiny moments
and intimate connections ... always delivering show of high energy and
emotional moments.
In 1996 at Cannes Midem, he met songwriter/performers Al Harvey, Sonny Curtis
Becky Hobbs and others. Their talents inspired Eddy to begin writing his own songs.
He engages in the perfect marriage ... "rockabilly" and "country" music ...
in both French and American languages. He has released 3 CDs and one live DVD.
If you were to take a pint of Johnny Cash, a shot of Carl Perkins and mix them with
the honky tonk style of Merle Haggard -- Eddy Ray Cooper would be the result.
