Shari was born in Michigan and in early years traveled back
and forth between Indiana and Florida with her family.
She now calls Port Charlotte, Florida home where she resides with her
husband "Bo", and six dear animal-children. She is an animal lover and supporter
of "no kill" animal shelters.
Although she came from a very strict family background, she was
allowed to sing with school and church choirs and many times was the featured
performer in school plays and church programs. Shari (by third grade)
persuaded her mother to allow her to take dance lessons and she excelled
in tap, acrobatic dancing and modern jazz. She later went on to become
a teacher of those styles and ballroom dancing.
She continued to sing and dance in community theatre productions,
often portraying lead roles, such as, "ANNIE GET YOUR GUN," "BUS STOP,"
"PICNIC," "LIL' ABNER," "SOLID GOLD CADILLAC," "DESPERATE HOURS," ETC.
Shari has appeared at many Florida benefits, parties, jamboree and
supper clubs. She was featured on the Holiday Inn circuit from Venice,
Florida through Paduca, Kentucky, Chicago Heights, and Crete Illinois.
Shari has also appeared at The Mount Airey Lodge in the Poconos and The
Debbie Reynolds Casino in Las Vegas.
She is now recording very successfully. Shari's latest CD features haunting, soulful,
memory stirring favorites.
